Camilla & Marc

Australian fashion ‘it' couple, camilla and marc, showcased their eponymous Spring Summer 08/09 collection in elegant style at Rosemount Australian Fashion Week. The distinctive camilla and marc signature set the pace at the start of what was a very busy program of shows and events.

For the first time, Schwarzkopf Professional collaborated with the brother and sister duo, Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman, to make this year's presentation a highlight. The show was a perfect fusion of dynamic fashion designs and the sleek hairstyles created by hair director Daren Borthwick. The camilla and marc collection is a complex mix of fragile femininity and tough edginess, and the challenge was to successfully showcase this unique juxtaposition of style and creativity."The brief to the hair director was to work with our designs and complement our range with a sharp, modern hair structure," said Camilla. "Daren delivered brilliantly on the day with hair pulled tight around the face and fastened into a series of high set buns. The styling was perfect, and accentuated the shape of our designs, while contributing an overall sleek sophistication.""The look created by Daren channelled the key images in the Schwarzkopf Professional Essential Looks SS08, a bi-annual collection that translates catwalk couture into a commercial reality," said Schwarzkopf Professional Marketing Manager, Bianca Panozzo.camilla and marc have agreed to work exclusively with Schwarzkopf Professional on further projects to capitalise on what promises to be a mutually beneficial and successful relationship between these two leading companies.
